Sports Talk in Dallas

Donovan McNabb

It was obvious on Sunday afternoon why the Eagles should cut ties with McNabb.  Although he passed for 381 yards and 4 touchdowns he made some bad reads and some arrant throws.  It was clear that Brian Westbrook and Kevin Curtis had more to do with Philly’s big day than McNabb.  The fact that Detroit couldn’t seem to tackle those Eagles in paticular played a big role in the bloated numbers McNabb put up.  It was a good outing turned great by a very poor defence and a Brian Westbrook determined to win.  McNabb will think this is a- in your face game.  A kind of game where he shows his critics the errors of their ways.  But mark my words, this game against the lowly lions will not save McNabb.  He isn’t the quarterback he used to be.  Blame injuries, blame whatever, his performance this year and even in this game is just not good enough.

Cowboys – Bear Game

It was almost as if I was watching an NBA reffed game Sunday Night.  Those were horrible calls.  I’m just glad that despite the referees best efforts the Cowboys still won by 24.  Which means the Bears missed covering the game by 27 points.  I wonder if the referees still get paid if the outcome isn’t what there booky friends desire.  Forget Hilary, forget Obama, forget Freddy and Rudy, Tony Romo and Jason Garrett for President and Vice President right now.

First Post, First Blog

With the Dallas Mavericks exiting the playoffs in the first round and the Texas Rangers struggling, I have decided to start ranting.  I thank Word Press for giving me this free opportunity to divulge all my genius thoughts regarding the Sport’s World.  My first sports post, regarding the Texas Rangers, will be blogged very soon.  Until my next post, two kisses from Sammy.
