He turned what would be one hell of a major league club (because of the starting rotation and good lineup) into potential. That's more on the oppisite side of the mastermind spectrum in my opinion. And the answer to your question is I would rather have that team up there with Teixeira in his walk year than the current team. (And look who is rising to the top just for insurance if he did leave.) I don't think I would. Tex wasn't coming back here, and he's not going to resign with Atlanta, either. He's probably going to wind up a Yankee in 2009, since they're the ones with the deep pockets he likes to snuggle up to.
